Candy Crush Saga Map Art Overhaul

Eventually, the map art evolved to only using 10 different maps and rotating them for the episodes. On the art and narrative end, this allows us to zoom in on key characters and key locations within the Candy Crush franchise. We also decided to pick out the best Candy Crush map art (from the huge library that was created over the years by many artists) that fits best with the overall Candy Crush Saga art style.
While no new art was created, we had to establish key locations and characters, revamp the background colours of the map as well as composite and tweak the dioramas to make these iconic Candy Crush locations.
Lollipop Meadows - Home of Misty the Unicorn. This map was supposed to be one big meadow without any major landmarks. I had to search the library for the trees that best represent the style of the game and 'candify' them some more!
Lemonade Lake - Home of Denize the Dragon. Again, there was no prominent landmark in the narrative (The Lake was a landmark itself) so I thought a water wheel making lemonade from the lake would be a fun addition.
Fantastic Forest is home to Odus the wise owl. His home is a giant tree in the forest. The purplish hues make this the only 'night' episode and give the forest a mysterious tone.
Rainbow Reef - home of Dexter the whale. There have been many underwater episodes done before and it was difficult choosing the most fitting corals for the game.
Episode Background art reflects the map where the level is on and appears as backgrounds for the level.
